Joseph "Joey" Screpesi of Long Neck died Monday, April 30, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 44.
Mr. Screpesi was born in Reading, Pa., son of Michael J. and Concetta (Aiello) Screpesi of Long Neck.
He was a member of Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Oak Orchard.
Mr. Screpesi was a 1981 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.
He is survived buy a son, Michael Screpesi of Bridgeville; his parents, Michael J. and Concetta (Aiello) Screpesi of Long Neck; two sisters, Janelle (Screpesi) and her husband, Jeffery Rohrbach of Mohnton, Pa. and Rachelle (Screpesi) and her husband, Neil Linney of London, England; two nephews, Christian Linney and Cameron Linney of London, England; and four nieces, Brittany Rohrbach and Chelsea Rohrbach, both of Mohnton and Annabel Linney and Tiffany Linney, both of London, England.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on May 5 in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale, Pa.
Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery.
