Joseph Muckin

Muckin, 91 HARTLY - Joseph Victor Muckin of Hartly passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Kent General Hospital. He was 91. Mr. Muckin was born October 15, 1923 in Sayreville, New Jersey. He was the oldest of 12 brothers and sisters. He served in the United States Air Army Corp during WWII. Mr. Muckin worked as an engineer for Hercules in New Jersey. He enjoyed gardening, golfing and bowling. Mr. Muckin was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree and Immaculate Conception Church in Marydel. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Belva Hudson Muckin of Hartly; son, Charles Muckin of Hartly; daughters, Amelia Zaigler and her husband Philip of Bradenton, Fla. and Lora Muckin of North Brunswick, N.J.; three grandchildren, Gregory Davis and his wife Lori of Frederick, Md., Christopher Davis and wife Danielle of Jackson, N.J., Beth Davis of Maple Shade, N.J.; great grandchildren, Cameron, Katherine, Averi, Patrick and Casey. Services will be private. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
