Joseph Knisley

Joseph Lee Knisley (Foot), of Delaware, born on July 12, 1970 in Fayett County Memorial Hospital, Ohio, to Sharon Messick, of Seaford and Othie Knisley, Ohio, passed away at the age of 48, on July 14, 2018 in Christiana Hospital, Delaware.
He was a mason all his life for several different contractors.
Joe was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Opal Funk and Christina Longsworth; and grandfather, Robert Funk.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Messick; and father, Othie Knisley; brother, Jeremy Knisley, and Heather; his nephews, Mathew, James, Ayden, and Kaleb Knisley; and best friends, Allen Young and Jamie Smith.
He was a member of Native Sons Motorcycle Riders. Friends and family can pay their respects at a memorial service to be announced in the near future. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to pay for expenses to take Joe to be laid to rest in Ohio.
