FREDERICA - Joseph John Morrison died Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the Delaware Hospice Center surrounded by his family. He was born in 1918 to Wilmer and Elizabeth Morrison in Pennsylvania. Joseph proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and for many years thereafter. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Morrison; daughter, Patricia Driscoll and her husband Timothy, their children Brian and Kyle; brother Wilmer Morrison; sister, Helen Lawrence; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 10, at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 110 Lucky Estates Dr., Harrington, where viewing will be one hour earlier. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Frederica Fire Dept., P.O. Box 283, Frederica, DE 19946; or Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
