Jonathan A. 'Jay' Young Sr., 45
DOVER - Jonathan A. 'Jay' Young Sr., of Dover, formerly of Smyrna and Baltimore, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009. He was 45. He was born in Baltimore, son of the late John H. (Jr.) and Mary Young. Jay will be remembered as a very devoted and loving father and friend. He is survived by his three sons, Jonathan A. Jr., Colby A., and Zachary A. Young, all of Dover; a sister and her husband, Katherine (Kathy) and Tom Rausch of Bel Air, Md.; two nieces; and two nephews. A service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 10:30 a.m. A second service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the First Southern Baptist Church, 761 S. Little Creek Rd., Dover, where friends may call at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Jonathan Young Sr. Children's Education Fund, C/O Wachovia Bank, 100 N. DuPont Hwy. (DE 5808), Dover, DE 19901.
