Jonathan A. Walters

Jonathan A. Walters, 54 SEAFORD - Jonathan A. Walters, age 54, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010. After a long illness he succumbed to a heart attack. Jon was predeceased by his mother, Marie H. Walters-Stephens of Rehoboth; his sister, Veronica E. Dize of Seaford; and his niece, Stacy Boyle-Knox of Seaford. Jon is survived by his father, Frederick Z. Walters of Kingsville, Md.; his brother, Mark Walters and wife Rose of Forrest Hills, Md.; his brother, David G. Walters and wife Barbara of Rehoboth; sister, Karen M. Walters-Taylor and husband Howard of Sykesville, Md.; also many nieces and nephews, plus great nieces and nephews. Jon was also survived by his longtime friend of many years, G. Wayne Woodall of Rehoboth. He was a homebody and loved his home; he enjoyed gardening, cooking (he was a fantastic cook), and spending time with friends and family, especially family gatherings. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 Shipley St., Seaford, where friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Burial will be in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood, weather permitting.
