John W. 'Jack' Deats, 73 MIDDLETOWN - John W. "Jack" Deats, age 73, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. In June of 1957, he married the former R. Alice Haman. The following May he went to work for Giles & Ransome where he continued to work until his retirement in December 2009 after 51 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Alice; three sons, Jim, Dale and Russell and three grandchildren, Stephen, Alexa, and a very special granddaughter, Mary Jo. Services will be private.
