MILFORD - John R. Clark Sr., of Milford, died of a heart attack on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, in Bayhealth Milford Memorial. He was 75.
He was born in Milford.
He served in the U.S. Army as a cook.
John worked for A & P Stores in our area for over 32 years.
In 1983, he and he wife opened a Ceramics shop, The Mud House, next to their home.
John was a member of the American Legion Post in Harrington, and a member of the Harrington Senior Center, and Harvest Years Senior Center.
John was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved following his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers.
A true love in his life was his time caring for his two grandsons, Kyle and Gavin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Clark; and two brothers, Elmer and Homer Clark.
John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan J. Clark; four sons, Kenneth Clark and his wife Donna of Lincoln, John R. Clark Jr. of Lincoln, Kevin Clark and his wife of Snow Hill, Md., and Johnny Ray Clark and his wife Crystal of Milford; one daughter, Crystal Newcomb of Milford; five granddaughters; and eight grandsons.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today in Price Funeral Home, 6 Dorman Street, Harrington.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
Instead of flowers, the funeral home is accepting donations to help defray the funeral costs for the family.
