John P. 'Jack' Wilson, 80

MIDDLETOWN - John P. "Jack" Wilson, of Middletown, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at Christiana Hospital, Newark. He was 80. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 61 years, Dorothy Luetta (Zebley) Wilson; a daughter, L. Gail VanDeusen of Ocala, Fla.; a son, David K. Wilson and his wife Sharon of Fair Hill, Md.; five grandchildren; and his loving dog and companion, Chloe. Family and friends may visit from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, where a Masonic service will begin at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5 at Townsend Immanuel Methodist Church, Townsend. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Townsend Immanuel Methodist Church, P.O. Box 60, Townsend, DE 19709-0060.
