John N. Bougourd III

FELTON - John N. Bougourd III, affectionally known as Rabbit, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 in his home surrounded by his loving family. John was born on May 27, 1932 in Baltimore, Md, son of the late John and Eva (Roumley) Bougourd. He worked in parts, shipping and receiving for Baltimore Mack Trucks Inc. where he retired. He also operated a second hand shop in Sandtown, Del. John was a member of the Willow Grove Church of God. He is preceded in death by his wife Delores M. Bougourd. John is survived by four children, John N. Bougourd IV of Sandtown, Del., Harry Bougourd of Glen Burnie, Md., Kathy Grant of Upper Marlboro, Md. and Ellen Knight of West Valley City, Utah; three brothers George Bougourd of Gumboro, Del., Albert Bougourd of Baltimore, Md. and Eddie Bougourd of Littletown, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at the Willow Grove Church of God, 90 Honeysuckle Road, Camden-Wyoming, where friends may gather two hours earlier. A fellowship will immediately follow at the church. Burial will be noon Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Baltimore, Md. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901. Arrangements by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
