LONG NECK - John 'Jack' K. Scheely Jr. passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Beebe Medical Center, in Lewes. He was born and grew up in Albany, N.Y. son of the late, John K. Scheely Sr and Hope Scheely. He was Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds for school districts in upstate New York including Shenendehoah, and Berlin Central School Districts, and North Country Community College. John was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Am Vets Post 2. He enjoyed cooking, boating, golfing, casinos and social activities. He is survived by his wife, Judi; his brother, William and wife Faith; a sister, Joyce and husband Brian; Judi's sisters, Carole, Janice and husband John, and Linda and husband William; loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE., 19966.
