DOVER - John Joseph Koenig passed away on Feb. 4, 2018 at Silver Lake Convalescent Center.
A native of New York, he lived most of his adult life on Long Island before retiring to Delaware with his wife, Jeanne Koenig, who passed away in 2014.
He is survived by his four sons, John R. Koenig of Barrington, R.I., George J. Koenig of Lewes, James L. Koenig of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Charles E. Koenig of Mathews, Va.; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m., held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
Arrangements in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
