John Jamgochian, 83
REHOBOTH BEACH - John Jamgochian of Rehoboth Beach, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 83.
He was born in Philadelphia, son to the late, Manoog and Armenouhie (Panosian) Jamgochian.
He was a retired insurance claims adjuster.
John served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He was a member of American Legion Post 17 of Lewes.
John enjoyed horseback riding, playing cards and visiting family.
He is survived by three sons, Michael and wife Kathleen, David and wife Joanne, and Charles, all of Rehoboth Beach; daughter, Donna and husband Marvin Kohn of Boothwyn, Pa.; sister, Alice and husband Bill Young of Woodlyn, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery South, Millsboro.
