John J. Boyle, 69

CHESWOLD - John J. Boyle of Cheswold passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 69.

Mr. Boyle was born Aug. 18, 1938, in Philadelphia, son of the late John James Boyle and Margaret Hargraves Sence.

He worked as a chemist for Concord Chemical, Camden, N.J., for several years before retirement.

Mr. Boyle served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

His hobbies included fishing and watching his son, Bobby, participate in motor-cross racing.

Mr. Boyle is survived by his wife, Harriet Frame Boyle; a daughter, Andrea J. Boyle of Rising Sun, Md.; a son, Bobby Boyle of the home; two sisters, Margaret Golden of Wilmington, and Roberta Stoltzfuss of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services and burial will be private.
