John David Faulkner

VIOLA - John David Faulkner of Viola formerly of Neshanic, N.J. passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017 at Kent General Hospital. John was born Jan. 20, 1942 in Highland Park, N.J. to the late Sydney Faulkner and Jeanette Vela Faulkner.

He owned and operated his printing business, and worked for Graphic Concepts in Bound Brook, N.J. retiring in 2007 after 45 years. John was a member of Union Lodge #7 and #19, The Scottish Rite Valley of Trenton. He was also a member of Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge #203 and Christ Church in New Brunswick, N.J. John enjoyed family, and sitting on his deck enjoying the sun.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Faulkner in 2007; and brother, Sydney Faulkner, Jr. in 1981.
He is survived by his children, Laura Horton of Camden, Michele Jurist of Monterey, Tenn., Cheryl Polnasek, David Faulkner both of Hillsborough, N.J. and Letty Burlew of Manville, N.J.; sister, Barbara Chludzinski of East Brunswick, N.J.; grandchildren, Bryan and Brandon Horton, Robert, Felicia, Anna and David Jurist, Travis, Timothy and Sydney Polnasek, Katlyn, Justin, and Kevin Faulkner and Lindsay, Ethan and Caden Burlew; great-granddaughter, Arianna Osborne.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, with a Masonic service at 1 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in New Jersey.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Office of Development, Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
