Sr., 87 FELTON - John "Jack" Clark, Sr., of Felton passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 at Silver Lake Center in Dover. Jack was the son of the late Lee and Anna Jump Clark. Jack retired from Johnson Controls in 1991 after 30 years of service. He was a military veteran serving in the U.S. Army, Co. "D" 511th Airborne Infantry Regiment. He was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge 534 since 1970, member of the Delaware Farm Bureau, former member of the American Legion Post 14. Jack was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He assisted with coaching little league in Smyrna. His grandchildren always remembered him for his love of the family pets always spoiling them with never-ending treats. He loved to Rabbit hunt and loved his rabbit beagles. He enjoyed his morning coffee and sharing great stories and solving the world's problems with the guys at Goose Creek in Felton. After coffee it was on to breakfast! In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three children, John "Jackie, Herman "Sonny", and Bonnie Clark, two sisters, Edith Killen and Edith Reynolds, a grandson, Samuel W. "Sammy" Tatman, III and cousin, Edwin Jump. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Ethel June Lindale Clark, three step-children, Gail Ralph, Linda Jean Porter, Samuel Tatman, Jr. and their spouses; granddaughters, Norie Clark White, Bridget Brady, Sheila Mast, Jessica Hay and Stefanie Freimuth; great grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter and other extended family. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
