WOODLAND BEACH - John C. Walls, of Woodland Beach, passed away on Sunday March 6, 2011, at Christiana Hospital, Newark. He was 73. He was born in Newark, and had resided in Woodland Beach for over 30 years. Mr. Walls owned and operated J&G Roofing for many years. He enjoyed fishing, country music, and his dog, Shoney. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia M. Walls; a son, John C. Walls III; a daughter, Linda Marie Ritter; and a sister, Helen Isaacs. He is survived by four brothers, Clifton, George, Burton, and Ernie Walls; and two sisters, Aggie Duck, and Marylou Streets. Services will be noon, Friday, March 11, at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
