DOVER - JoAnn (Woodruff) Kulhanek passed away on April 16, 2018.
Mrs. Kulhanek was born in Waynesburg, Pa. and moved to Delaware in 1954. She was a 1964 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School. She enjoyed bowling. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Dover.She retired from the State of Delaware pensions office after many years of service.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of Cadia Capitol Health Care and to Vitas Hospice.
Mrs. Kulhanek is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne F. Kulhanek, Sr.; two sons, Wayne Kulhanek, Jr. and his wife Julie of Felton and Michael Kulhanek of Dover; one brother, James Woodruff of Dover; three sisters, Caroline W. Jones of Dover, Tamara L. Ballesteros and her husband Ernesto of California and Pamela W. Stemphoski and her husband Thomas of Florida; and two grandsons, Gavin and Cameron. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Louise (Rose) Woodruff.
A funeral service will be 12 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
