Jessie W. Butler Walls, 86

DOVER - Jessie W. Butler Walls, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 86.

Mrs. Walls was born July 5, 1921, in Camden, to the late Ernest and Bessie (Morris) Wilcutts.

She was a member of Hartly United Methodist Church, where she served on the church board.

Mrs. Walls was also a member of the Bear Women's Club, the Dover Modern Maturity Center and the Order of the Eastern Star of Victor Chapter 15.

She was the manger for Buena Vista for the State of Delaware.

Mrs. Walls was preceded in death by two husbands, William George Butler Sr. and Ura Walls.

She is survived by her stepdaughters, Frances R. Butler of Salisbury, Md., and Shirley A. McGee of Sharptown, Md.; a sister and her husband, Clara and George Russell of Milford; and her loving companion, Rex Price of Dover.

Remembrance services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hartly United Methodist Church, 85 Main St., Hartly, DE 19953.
