FRANKFORD - Jessie Lee Thomas of Frankford died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. He was 77.
He was a retired poultry worker.
Mr. Thomas loved fishing, playing pool and people. He was a stranger to no one and a very good cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Minnie (Brown) Griffin; and his wife, Rosie Bell Thomas, in 1993.
He is survived by seven sons and three daughters-in-law, Clifton and Ilene Bell of St. Louis, Lawyer and Sally Hicks of Frankford, Barry and Towanda Thomas of Lincoln, Ronnie Thomas of Smyrna, Rufus Thomas of Laurel, Ulysses Thomas of Frankford and Raymond Thomas of Millsboro; seven daughters and six sons-in-law, Rosie and James Coleman of Millsboro, Lorraine and Brian Burton of Millsboro, Dora Bell-Isler and Larry Isler of Frankford, Beth and Larry Morris of Dagsboro, Rachel and Calvin Bivens of Roxana, Amanda and Timothy Purnell of Georgetown and Sandra Mumford of Georgetown; three sisters-in-law, Annie Fulmore of Baltimore, Maye Newsome of New York and Mary Sue Belle of Selbyville; three brothers-in-law and their wives, Cleveland and Mary Francis Belle of Virginia, Calvin and Shirley Bell of Baltimore and Robert Belle of Baltimore; 34 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Holiness Church, Frankford, where friends may call two hours earlier. The Rev. Larry Morris will officiate.
Burial will be in Zoar Golden Acres, Bishopville, Md.
