MONTEVALLO, Ala. - Jessica Lee Gabel Triesler, 53, of Montevallo, formerly of Dover, Del., departed this life on Dec. 3, 2010. Jessie was a graduate of Dover High School class of 1975 and attended Wesley College and the Delaware Technical Institute. She is survived by her two sons, Brian and Daniel, whom were the center of her world; parents, Patricia and Walter Gabel; sisters, Deborah Dawson (Sam), and Priscilla Robinson (Steve); brother, William Gabel (Julie); niece, Jennifer Robinson; nephews, Scotty Robinson, Josh Robinson, Colin Gabel, and Luke Gabel; many cousins; former mother in-law, Bobi Triesler; dear friend, Tiffney Reed; along with countless other friends. We will all miss her smile, sweet spirit, dedication to others and most importantly her dedication to being Christ's witness in this world. She was an employee and active member of the Church at Brook Hills. Friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of her life on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at 1 p.m., at The Church at Brook Hills, 3145 Brook Highland Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35242. Her brother-in-law, Steve Robinson, will be presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Church at Brook Hills which Jessie loved so dearly. "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." Proverbs 31.
