Jennie Lee Watkins, of Houston, DE, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 12, 2026 in Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, Dover. Jennie was born in Milford, DE the daughter of Juanita “Nita” (Nailor) and Ricky Watkins, Sr. She was a homemaker. Jennie loved to cook. She also had a true passion for baking and decorating cakes. For many years, she specialized in baking cakes for the birthdays of her beloved children, nieces and nephews.
She also sold Mary Kay cosmetics for a short period of time. Jennie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Lester and Helen Nailor and her paternal grandparents James and Irene Watkins.
She is survived by her children, Shane Michael Mumford, Jr., Caleb Matthew Mumford, Haylie Irene Mumford, and Cameron Pazdalski; her grandchildren Asher Diaz and Zoey Mumford; two brothers Ricky C. Watkins, Jr. and Jimmy “Boop” Watkins; a sister Gail Malago; and loved by several additional family members.
A viewing will be held from 11 am to 12 pm on Monday, April 20, 2026 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where services will be held at 12 pm. Burial will be in Hopkins Cemetery, Felton. Letters of condolence may beshared with the family at www.loflandandmcknatt.com.
