MILFORD - Jeanette L. Tribbitt of Milford, formerly of Smyrna, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 74.
Mrs. Tribbitt was born June 6, 1932, in Fergus Falls, Minn., daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Gale) Logas.
Mrs. Tribbitt worked as an executive secretary for Playtex, Dover for several years before retirement.
Her hobbies included cooking, bowling, playing cards and Scrabble, spending time with her family and friends and doing things for others.
She is survived by her husband, James T. Tribbitt Jr.; two sons, Richard A. Tribbitt of Guatemala and Charles T. Tribbitt and his wife Lucille with whom she lived; a sister, Angie Tally of Green Valley, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Jeremy Tribbitt, Daniel Tribbitt, Jessica Tribbitt and James Tribbitt; and two great-grandchildren, Devon Tribbitt and Jacob Tribbitt.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
The family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
