DOVER - Jeanette G. Leary passed away, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Westminster Village.
Mrs. Leary was born March 27, 1928 in Wilmington to the late John Burris Graham and Edith R. Marvel Graham.
She enjoyed life as a mother, grandmother and homemaker. She also enjoyed years of volunteering at Westminster Village, Modern Maturity Center as well as Delaware Hospice.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Leary; son, Richard J. Leary; granddaughter, Kelly Fritchman; brothers, Milton and Ronald Graham; and sisters, Mary Thompson and Grace Loman.
She is survived by her son, Thomas J. Leary (Laurie) of Dover; grandchildren, Heather Tunstill of Townsend, Shannon Mesina of Gaithersburg, Md., Dr. Becky Tretina of Smyrna and MacKenzie Giorgio of Oakhurst, N.J. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Edna Leary of Ocean Township, N.J.; great grandchildren, Melanie Fritchman, CJ Fritchman, Ty Tunstill, and Salvatore Giorgio.
Memorial services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Kelly J. Fritchman Swimming scholarship. Make check payable to "UDAF" and note in memo "Kelly J. Fritchman Swimming Scholarship." Address to "UDAF" 83 E. Main St., Newark, DE 19716.
