Jeanette E. McGee

ELLENDALE - Jeanette E. McGee, of Ellendale, passed away on July 30, 2010, at Bay Health Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 83. Mrs. McGee was born the daughter of the late Otis and Mary (Lekates) Willey. She was a CNA at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes for over 20 years. Mrs. McGee was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to country music and spending time with her Grand and Great Grandchildren. In addition to both parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore C. McGee in 1995; two brothers, William and James Willey; and a sister, Mary Belle Cannon. She is survived by a son, William O. McGee and his wife Barbara "Peaches" of Milford; a daughter, Lila Lee Wright and her husband Chuck of Greenwood; a son, James C. McGee and his wife Christine of Lincoln; a daughter, Ann M. Lynch and her husband Dallas of Harbeson; and a daughter Dawn E. Passwaters and her husband Robert of Lincoln; nine grandchildren, Lisa Gooden, Michael McGee, Wade Passwaters, Nicole Passwaters, Clint McGee, Jennifer Lynch, Dalton MeGee, Donnie McGee and Christopher Fox; and three great-grandchildren, Kelly Gooden, Autumn McGee, and Skye Passwaters. A funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market Street, Georgetown, where friends may call after noon. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
