Jean Lucille Atkinson Clark

SUDLERSVILLE, Md. - Jean Lucille Atkinson Clark died Wednesday May 30, 2018 in Homestead Manor Assisted Living in Denton, Md.
Born in Sudlersville, Md. Jean was the daughter of Edward Stanley Atkinson and Mildred "Shelton" Atkinson. Jean graduated from Sudlersville High School in 1947 and was the class Valedictorian. She then went on to attend Salisbury State University for one year. In 1950 she married her late husband Marion Clark and the two began the family business Chester River Boat Sales. Jean ran the office while Marion ran the business. Jean also drove a school bus for Queen Anne's County for several years. During this same time they also began their family. Jean was a member of Chester River Yacht and Country Club where she enjoyed playing cards and going to dances. She also enjoyed knitting, taking cruises, and spending time with her family who she was so proud of.
She is survived by one son, Stanley Clark (Karen) of Ocean View; two daughters, Sherrie Hill (John) of Millington, Md., Sheila Marshall (Aaron) of Barclay, Md.; six grandchildren, Brian Marge (Landra) of Fort Myers, Fla., Joshua Marshall (Michelle) of Greensboro, Md., Bradley Clark of Ocean View, Jessica Hill of Macon, Ga., Jennifer Clark of Ocean View, Hannah Marshall of Barclay, Md.; and three great grandchildren, Lily Marge of Fort Myers, Fla., Owen Marge of Fort Myers, Fla. and Wade Marshall of Greensboro, Md.
A visitation will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, Md. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow the services in Sudlersville Cemetery in Sudlersville, Md.
