DOVER - Died Dec. 18, 2015 at Kent General Hospital after a long battle with Dementia. Born July 11, 1935 To Frank J. and Ruth A (McKeen) Mara in Trenton, N.J. Married Sept. 25, 1954 to her loving husband William C. Hill in Trenton N.J. Survived by her husband, Bill; son, William C and his wife Vonnie; daughter, Barbara J Lambert; daughter-in-law, Karen Hill; sister, Ruth A Howard; brother and sister in law, Clair and Kathy Hill. Pre-deceased by both her parents, Brother Frank J Mara Jr., Son Robert A, and daughter Ruth A. A talented Sunday School teacher for more than 50 years, a flower arranger in most churches we have attended over 50 years A marvelous Mother, Mother-in-law, and wife who managed the family through many moves in Bill's career in the U.S. Air Force, and in Industry after the USAF career. Bill and Jean moved to Delaware in late 2004, and in early 2009 moved into Westminster Village in Dover Del. a Presbyterian Senior Living facility. Jean spent her last three years in the village Health Center, due to her medical needs, and basically wheelchair bound. A celebration of life will be scheduled later.
