MILLINGTON, Md. - Jason Richard Ellis, of Millington, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore. He was 24. He was born April 22, 1984, in Elkton, the son of Richard Ellis and Jeanette Cothin. Jason attended Kent County High School where his favorite subjects were astronomy and auto mechanics. He worked as a tree climber for Anthony's Tree Experts and Economy Tree and also in construction for McGrath Construction. His hobbies included fishing, skate boarding, crabbing, climbing trees, shooting, and getting tattoos. He also enjoyed watching Mythbusters, How It's Made and The Worlds Dirtiest Jobs. He was very intelligent and had a great memory and could repeat most anything after only seeing or hearing it once. He also enjoyed paint ball and surfing the net. His myspace page was Live to Skate, Skate to Live. He is survived by his father, Richard Ellis and wife Debbie of Massey; his mother, Jeanette Cothin and companion Chava Alvares of Chesterville; fiancé, Ashley Lukaszewicz of Sudlersville; one brother, Wesley Wayne Ellis of Massey; three sisters, Ashley Michele Ellis of Chesapeake City, Anna Marie Warner of Massey, Bobbie Lynn Warner of Massey; paternal grandparents, Forrest and Sara Ellis of Millington, MD, maternal grandmother, Esther Collins of Millington; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be held in Sudlersville Cemetery, Sudlersville.
