Janice Marie McWilliams

DAGSBORO - Janice "Jan" Marie McWilliams passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Janice was born in Bridgeville, raised in Seaford and lived in Newark before retiring to Dagsboro. Her family was her dearest love. Janice married and is survived by Marvel "Mac" C. McWilliams, her hometown sweetheart. Jan and Mac raised three children, Dana C. McWilliams (Lisa McWilliams), Dawn M. Loch (Bill Loch) and Debra A. Kircher (Paul Kircher). She was a loving grandmother to Brett M. McWilliams (Amy McWilliams), Matt M. Kircher (Sequoia Kircher), Tucker R. Kircher and Joseph C. Loch; as well as a great-grandmother to Liam and Harvey McWilliams and Greyson and Juniper Kircher. Janice was a wonderful watercolor artist and a founding member of the Bethany Beach Watercolor Society. She participated in the group for many years and was particularly known for her illustrative flowers, waterfront and beach scenes. Janice was exceptionally creative and talented in cooking and baking, gardening and as a seamstress. She often shared her talents with others through volunteer work. Family and friends are invited to come, celebrate Janice's life and share memories on Monday, June 13, 2016, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970.
