DOVER - Janet Marie Epperson, of Dover, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born, March 28, 1965, in Wilmington to the Late- Edward & Helen (Lewis) Long. She enjoyed listening to music, reading poems, doing word searches, and watching Disney movies. Janet is survived by her three children, Erica Acevedo-Epperson, Angela Epperson and Cassandra Epperson, all of Dover; her companion, Kenneth Evans, of Dover; brother, Edward Long, of Dover; two sisters, Lisa Clough, of Woodside, and Peggy Keen, of Dover; four grandchildren, Deju, Xander, Danny and Noah; five nephews, Danny, Eddie, Justin, Frankie, and Matthew; and nieces, Kristina and Amanda. A family time of sharing will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
