Janet Cahall Miller

Felton - Janet C. Miller passed away Wednesday August 27, 2014 at home. Janet was born Nov. 2, 1958 in Dover, Del. to the late Kenneth Thomas Cahall and Molly Edwin Clarke Cahall. She had worked as a paralegal for 35 years with the law firm of Schmittinger & Rodriguez, she also trained dogs for the Seeing Eye Program. Janet enjoyed animals, books especially if she could read them in the pool, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Association of Paralegals. Janet is survived by her son, Tyler Miller and his wife, Stephanie of Augusta, Ga.; sister, Victoria Norris and her husband, James of Hartly; nephew, Matthew Chaffee and his family; numerous cousins and special friends, Mary, Laura, Connie, Donna, Leslie and B.J. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Sat. Sept. 6, 2014 at the Hartly Learning Center, 21 North Street, Hartly, Del. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to First State Animal Center and SPCA 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, Del. 19934. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
