Jane C. Craft, 75

HARTLY - Jane C. Craft of Hartly died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at her residence. She was 75.

Born in Long Island, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Roeslin.

Mrs. Craft had moved to Dover in 1965 and had been employed with Nichol"s Department Store for several years and later with Super Fresh in west Dover.

She had been a longtime active member of Holy Cross Church in Dover.

Mrs. Craft had been a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed the time spent with family and friends.

She enjoyed gardening and was especially fond of her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Croft; a brother, Charles Roeslin; and two sisters, Katherine Smith and Lillian Staab.

Mrs. Craft is survived by three sons, Jeff Hoote of Hartly, Clay Hoote of Wilmington, and Ted Hoote of Camden; her grandson, Todd Hoote of Dover; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church, S. State St., Dover.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
