HARRINGTON - James W. Redden Jr., of Harrington, died July 26, 2009, at home. He was 34. He was born in Seaford to James Redden Sr. of Harrington and Paulette Shaner of Dover. James worked in the drywall business for Nanticoke Homes, together with his father. He was known as a workaholic, and enjoyed his job. He was a good brother who loved his family dearly. He was overprotective of his sister. James was very well liked with many friends whom he would help when he could. He enjoyed fishing with his father in his younger years. He was starting to turn his life around and stayed very active. His favorite saying was "Love ya, See ya, bye." He will be missed by all. In addition to parents, he is survived by a sister, Crystal Bliss and her husband Fred of Harrington; brother, Brian Redden and his wife Nicole of Milford; nephews, Cory Redden, and Noah Bliss; and nieces, Angel and Emma Bliss. Services will be 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where a visitation will be one hour prior. Donations can be made to Melvin Funeral Home to help defray expenses in lieu of flowers.
