Powell, Jr., 49 KENTON - James Robert Powell, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Mr. Powell was born Sept. 26, 1963 in Dover, the son of James R. Powell, Sr. and Susan Lee Powell of Kenton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Betty Lynne Powell; three daughters, Erin A. Powell, Amanda Renee Lynne Biddle, and Mahria Ashley Nicole Powell; two sons, James Robert Powell, III and Cody Wilson-Clyde Powell; three grandchildren, Rene Ganoe, Mia Nicole Lynne Bowden, and Dorian Matthew Heesh; his sister, Victoria Lee McDaniel and her husband, Michael; and extended family members. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna, DE. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Templeville Cemetery in Templeville, MD.
