MILLSBORO - James Robert Matthews, age 87, of Millsboro, passed away on Aug. 23, 2010, at Beebe Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Dutton Matthews; his wife, Cordelia Harmon Matthews; daughter, Carolyn Marshall; brother, Lincoln Matthews; two sisters, Rachel and Elizabeth Matthews. He is survived by his children, James Harmon and wife Lucille of Seaford, Larry Harmon of Millsboro, Nelson Matthews of Millsboro, Kathy Matthews of Millsboro, Tammy Mathews of Georgetown; ten grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and several cousins, extended family and friends. A Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call at noon. Interment will be private.
