GREENWOOD - J.R. Campbell of Greenwood was ushered home to Heaven Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, in Maui, Hawaii. He was 65. He was born Nov. 21, 1948, son of Walter and Hazel Campbell of Woodside, Pa. J.R. was a man of many talents & achievements. He loved music and played a wide variety of instruments. Among other things, he was an award-winning taxidermist and a National Sales Director for Conklin Company. He loved to travel and enjoyed visiting with friends. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpap and friend. J.R. was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Ethel Campbell; his parents, Walter & Hazel Campbell; and two sisters, Virginia Moore and Lois Elaine Campbell. He is survived by his wife of five years, Linda Campbell; his son, John Campbell; his daughter and son-in-law, Evanna and Brian Wilkie; his granddaughter, Brianna Wilkie; and his grandson, Briar Wilkie, all of Greenwood. He is also survived by Linda's family - her mother, Helen Wilson; her daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Matthew Yaeger; her grandson, Camden Yaeger; and her son, Jeff Wright. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at Greenwood Mennonite School. A Celebration service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 also at the school, followed by the burial at St. Johnstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Gideons International, PO Box 56, Harrington, DE 19952. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
