Dayton, 85 MILTON - James K. "Jimmy" Dayton passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at home. Born on Aug. 2, 1931 in Cambridge, Md., he was the son of the late Raymond Clarence Dayton and the late Ruby Warfield Dayton Hayward. Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Marion W. Dayton; son, Raymond J. Dayton and his wife Karen; daughter, Cindy L. Dayton; six grandchildren, Michele Ritter and husband Eric, Dawn Kimmel and husband Dan, Kim Harmon and husband Dwayne, Nick Truitt and wife Kathy, James Dayton and wife Colleen, and Jamie Dayton; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Dayton and wife Anne, Fred Dayton; sister, Joyce Ann McCallister; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, Bobby Dayton; sister, Raye Ellen Moore; grandchildren, Joshua and Stacy Truitt. A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Mar. 12, 2017 at the Dayton residence. Mr. Dayton was a generous man, he would help anyone in need. He will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a family in need or a charity of your choice.
