LEWES - James J. Aeckerle, age 92 of Lewes, passed away on Nov. 27, 2010, at Harrison House Nursing and Rehabilitation in Georgetown. James retired from the City of Philadelphia in the Streets Department. His parents precede him in death, Frederick and Alice Dougherty Aeckerle and his wife Margaret Ross Aeckerle. He is survived by his daughters, Maureen Bream and Husband Robert of Lewes, and Margaret Mary Aeckerle of Jackson, Wyoming; and four grandchildren, Pedar D. Enger, Catherine M . Davis, Kristin Bream, and Jeff Bream. A Committal Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to any Veterans Organization. Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.
