LINCOLN - James Edward White, Jr. passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 in his home.
James was born on Dec. 4, 1949 in Currituck, N.C., son of the late Willow Mae Sears White and James E. White, Sr.
He enjoyed playing the guitar, hot rod cars, racing, motorcycles and was a fan of the New England Patriots.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jacquelyn White; six children, Jaime White of Lincoln, Michelle Welch (Houston) of Lincoln, Maria Griffin (Darren) of Dover, Tammy Wescott (Calvin) of Millsboro, Shaneka Gibbs of Seaford, and Anthony Duncan of Jonesboro, Ga.; grandchildren, Devon Reed (Mackenzie), Ashley Cannon, Kietel Tarrant, Trey Westcott, Alecia Westcott, Khairo Gibbs, Karizma Gibbs, and Keilani Gibbs.
Service will be 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Old Hickory Cemetery, Lincoln.
