James Edward Stubbs

Edward Stubbs, I, 63 HENDERSON - James "Jimmy" Edward Stubbs, I of Henderson, Md. passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 with his family by his side. He was born on March 7, 1949 in Church Hill, Md. to the late George W. Stubbs and Eleanor Cole. Mr. Stubbs was a 1968 graduate of North Caroline High School. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran. He was a foreman for Reliable Contracting for 25 years and was a member of the Millington VFW, Post 652. He loved his '56 Chevy, riding his Harley motorcycle and spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of almost 33 years Stephanie Stubbs; two sons, James E. Stubbs, II and Jason Eric Stubbs both of Henderson; two daughters, Carrie Stubbs and Jamie Stubbs both of Seaford, Del., two sisters, Hazel Boyles of Sudlersville and Ilene Seiler of Ridgely; and two grandchildren James E. Stubbs, III and Taylor Stubbs. A memorial service will be Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at 2 p.m at the Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be private. For condolences to the family please visit www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
