James Edgar Stevenson

DOVER - James Edgar Stevenson, 70, of Dover, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was born on July 8, 1941, in Wilmington, to the late Thomas and Carrie Taylor Stevenson. Mr. Stevenson was a grocery clerk at A & P and Super Fresh for many years. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and Reserve of the Army. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rose Bandurski; sister, Ruth Malin; and grandson, James E. Stevenson, III. He is survived by wife, Jean Marie Stevenson of Dover; son, James E. Stevenson, Jr. of Newport; daughter, Michelle DelloBuono of Lebanon, Tenn.; daughter and her husband, Amber and Jeff Coleman of Camden; daughter, Sarah Stevenson and her companion Kyle Caldwell of Clayton; brother and his wife, Thomas William and Patricia Stevenson, Jr. of New Castle; sister and her husband, Susan and John Easm of New Castle; sister, Georgeann Touchton of Georgetown; and seven grandchildren. Remembrance Services will be noon, Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family request that memorial contributions be given to American Heart Association of Delaware, 200 Continental Dr., Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713; American Lung Association, 422 South Governor's Ave., Dover, DE 19904; or Alzheimer Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
