GREENWOOD - James D. "Jimmy" Stoker, Jr. (AKA Sweets) passed away on Aug. 20, 2015 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Jimmy was the owner of Stoker Construction Company. He was a member of the Andrewville Ruritan Club. Jimmy served in the past as President of the Woodbridge Little League, where he coached and umpired for many years. Sweets enjoyed spending time with his friends shooting pool, playing slots, and going to horse racing. Sweets was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, enjoyed NASCAR, and golfing. Jimmy was the favorite uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed spending his time with them playing, going to the circus, and doing anything to make them happy. Jimmy is survived by his sister, Patricia A. Jester and her husband Kreg of Greenwood; his sister Debra K. Carney and her husband Roger of Dover; his brother Raymond L. Stoker of Dover; his sister JoAnn E. Allaband of Dover; his sister Daisy M. Veith and her husband Michael of Milford; and his brother William Raughley Foraker, Jr. and his lifelong partner Jana Temone McClinsey of Milford. Sweets is also survived by the love of his life, Linda Johnson of Harrington; his stepson, Wade Rash of Harrington; his best friend Johnny Bultler AKA "JB" of Greenwood; 14 nieces and nephews, one of them his Goddaughter Jenna Jester; and three great nieces. Jimmy was preceded in death by his son James Douglass "J.D." Stoker, III. A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Del. 19934 where there will be a viewing from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be private.
