Hartly - James Andrew Martin passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, in his home. James was born, Oct. 10, 1949, in Dover to the late, Myrtle (Morris) Martin and John Martin, Sr. He spent all of his life in auto body painting & restoring work. James liked to watch Nascar and drag racing, and enjoyed playing golf. James is survived by his daughter, Nicole L. Kemp and her husband, Greg, of Goldsboro; a son, James Martin, Jr., of Dover; a sister, Pat Hurd and her husband, Robert, of Dover; three brothers, John Martin, Jr. and his wife, Wynette, Ronald Martin and his companion, Kathy Joyner and Dennis Martin and his wife, Jeanette, all of Marydel; a grandson, Brayden Kemp, of Goldsboro; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Celebration of his life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Marydel Fire House, 110 Fire House Lane, Marydel, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
