Gorman, 43 FREDERICA - James Andrew Gorman went to heaven on Mon., July 22, 2013. Jim was born in Lima, Pa. on Nov. 30, 1969 to William D. Gorman, Jr. and the late Patricia A. Gorman. Jim is a graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, Pa. Jim was a cook for Bob Evans and in 2006 he and his family relocated to Frederica where Jim became First Mate of the Trade Winds III. Jim was passionate about fishing and an active member of the Bowers fishing community. He loved to play pool, participate in the APA Pool league and watch football. Jim was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and a great friend to many. Jim leaves behind his wife, Marjorie J. Gorman of 23 years; his father, William D. Gorman, Jr., of Kennett Square, Pa.; his sister, Patricia A. Zindel of East Fallowfield, Pa.; his brother, William D. Gorman III, of Lincoln University, Pa.; his daughters, Amanda J. Gorman and Elizabeth A. Gorman, both of Harrington, Del., Brianna M. Gorman, of Frederica, Del.; and his beloved dog, Rubin. A service in celebration of Jim's life will be held on Thurs., Aug. 1, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division Street, Dover, DE 19904.
