MILTON - James A. Novotny of Milton, passed away Fri. April 1, 2011, at the Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford. He was 92. James was born in Willow River, Minn, son of the late James H. and Marion (Cisar) Novotny. He was a Machine Operator with General Foods, retiring several years ago. He was a member of Goshen U.M. Church, honorary lifetime member and director of Broadkill Sportsman Club, and enjoyed hunting and gardening. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by a son, Greg Novotny. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Angela (King) Novotny; a sister, Marie Tucker, of Ellendale; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tues. April 5, 2011, in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, where friends may call after 12 p.m. Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton. Flowers are accepted, or contributions can be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, De 19963.
