Dover - Jacqueline "Jacqui" Skethway Hoover passed away, Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 81. Jacqui was born Dec. 13, 1931, in Lancaster, Pa., to the Late, Lester and Christine Skethway. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Skethway. She had worked in management most of her life, and was the first Executive Director for the Modern Maturity Center, Dover. She enjoyed traveling, seeing most of the United States and Alaska; and also had spent time in France. Jacqui had a big heart for animals, and helped find homes for them when they had none. She is survived by two daughters, Donna J. Hungerford and her husband Robert, of Dover, and Micki Taylor and her husband Steve, of Seaford; three grandchildren, Shawn Heller, Brian and Jeff Taylor; and three great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kayla Heller and Emily Taylor; her feline companion, HoJo; and a host of relatives in Pa.
