J. Addison Draper

FELTON - J. Addison Draper, of Felton, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at home. He was 93. He was born in Greenwood the son of the late Edgar and Bessie (Wheeler) Draper. He was a farmer in the Felton area and he also enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the Farm Bureau. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann (Tatman) Draper in 2009; and a brother, Lester Draper. He is survived by his children, Robert Draper, Sr. and his wife Alma and Ron Draper and his wife Cathy all of Felton; seven grandchildren, Robert Draper II and his wife Suzanne, Anne Draper and husband Tom Rogers, Patricia Deputy and husband Carl, Faith Frey and her husband John, Amy Draper, Shirley Lane and husband Rick, and Beth Draper; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. Contributions may be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
