Issabelle Robinson King

FELTON - Issabelle "Izzy" Robinson King, 91, of Felton, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, in the Capitol Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Dover. She was born on April 27, 1920, in Barclay, Md., to the late Medford and Bertha Thompson Holden. She was a homemaker and opened her home to foster children. She also served her community volunteering in various hospitals. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Sherwood Robinson, 1985, and Alfred King, 1996; and daughter, Ethel Neirle, 2003. She is survived by daughter, June Young of Camden; three sisters, Pauline Brail of Michigan, Louise Coffee of Georgia, Helen Gillis of Arizona; four grandchildren, Kathleen DeMaio and husband John, Dawn Canna and husband Jim, John Hutchinson and wife Andrea, Christine Kim and husband Don; eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m., with a celebration of her life at 3 p.m. in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 12, in the Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken, N.J. Condolences to the family can be made at www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
