Howard Leroy Horsey, 48
LINCOLN - Howard Leroy Horsey of Lincoln passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 48.
He was born April 28, 1958, and was the son of Lonnie Horsey Sr. and the late Ruth Horsey.
Howard attended Benjamin Banneker Elementary School, Milford Junior High School and Milford Senior High School.
Howard went to work for King Cole, where he worked for many years until it went out of business. Howard then went to work for Donovan Salvage with whom he was still working when he passed.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Lonnie Horsey Sr. of Lincoln; five brothers, Lonnie Horsey Jr. of Ellendale, Roland Horsey and Brian Keith Horsey, both of Lincoln, and Jeffery Horsey and William Lloyd Horsey, both of Milford; four sisters, Christine Hazzard of Milford, Linda Horsey of Magnolia, and Melanie Horsey and Paula Horsey, both of Lincoln; one brother-in-law, Reginald Hazzard of Milford; two sisters-in-law, Constance and Michelle Horsey, both of Milford; several aunts and uncles, Cora V. Miller of Rehoboth Beach, Courtland Hood of Lincoln, Thomas and Sheila Hood of Lincoln, Arnold and Edith Hood of Seaford, Ronald and Roger Horsey of Laurel and Katie Parker of Laurel; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church, Slaughterneck, where friends may view two hours prior.
Burial will be in Old Hickory Cemetery, Slaughter Neck.
