GEORGETOWN — HomeWell Care Services Delaware gave out backpacks to children of all ages as they geared up to go back to school over the past few weeks.
These free backpacks were also filled with school supplies to help the kids start the school year off right.
“We have been giving out backpacks with starter supplies to our caregivers’ children each August for a few years now,” said Will Childers, owner of HomeWell Care Services Delaware.
“We’re happy to help our caregivers and their families. Giving them bookbags is just one way we recognize and show our gratitude for their commitment and hard work as a HomeWell caregiver. We have also sponsored or participated in other events that provide bookbags filled with school supplies to children in our local communities.”
